Benjamin “BeBe” Winans is a gospel singer songwriter and producer. He was born Benjamin Winans, on the 17th of September, 1962, in Detroit, Michigan. He was brought up in a family of musicians, and during his career, he has collaborated both with his brothers and sister, CeCe Winans. His debut album was released alongside her, and it caught the attention of “The PTL Club” television show producers, who hired the siblings as vocalists for the show. While working on the PTL show, they released a full length album and several singles. In 1989, Winans won his first Grammy for his song “Abundant Life” He then signed with Atlantic records to release his solo self-titled debut album in 1997. Winans is a prolific artist, and he has released eight solo albums, nine albums alongside his sister, and more than a dozen of very successful singles. He has also collaborated with major artists such as Keith Green and Keith Thomas.
