Becky Hill first rose to fame after competing for The Voice UK, and reaching the semifinal round. After the Voice, she became the first British contestant to get a number one hit single topping the UK charts, when she collaborated with Cutch EDM musician Oliver Heldens on “Gecko (Overdrive)”. Hill was born on February 14, 1994 in Bewdley, Worcestershire, England. Her first collaboration in artist Wilkinson‘s single “Afterglow,” became a number 8 hit in the UK. She then returned to the charts when she supported Rudimental with her single “Powerless,” and accompanied them in many U.K. festivals like Glastonbury. She has worked extensively with MNEK and issued a debut solo single, “Caution to the Wind.” By 2019, Hill had released an EP, “The Eko”, and a handful of upbeat singles, including “Wish You Well,” which features Sigala and has some 16 million views on YouTube alone.
