As a singer-songwriter, Ben Abraham is an Australian musical artist who loves performing indie folk songs. His parents are Indonesian pop stars who were big hits in the ‘70s performing for the band Pahama. With such upbringing, Ben Abraham grew up in a musical environment contributing to his musical passion.
He is often compared to other known artists such as Ben Howard, Glen Hansard, Gotye, and James Vincent McMorrow. His original dream was to become a screenwriter. However, he started writing songs during his teenage years up to early twenties in conjunction with his “soulful” voice. His debut album entitled “Sirens” was released in 2016 under the label of Secretly Canadian.
