English actor Ben Aldridge was born in Devon on November 12, 1989. Ben, who spent several years performing with the National Youth Theatre, received a scholarship from the Genesis Foundation for Young Actors to attend the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He departed early to start filming Compulsion, his acting debut on television, with Ray Winstone and Parminder Nagra. He is well-known for playing Harry Fanshawe, the title character's husband, in the critically acclaimed 2008 Channel 4 Civil War drama The Devil's Whore. "Stars of Tomorrow" from 2008 by Screen International chose him. Ben further portrayed Daniel Parish in the historical drama Lark Rise to Candleford on the BBC.
