Ben Haenow is a singer and songwriter born on 6th January 1985 in Croydon, England. He is widely recognized for winning season 7 of the reality television series “The X Factor”. A day after winning the competition, he released his winner’s single, a cover of OneRepublic’s song “Something I Need”. The cover debuted at number 1 on the Irish Singles Chart. The cover topped the UK Singles chart a month later and sold more than 214,000 copies.
Haenow signed a recording contract with Syco Music in January 2015. He released his debut self-titled album on 13th November 2015. The album’s lead single, “Second Hand Heart” was released in October 2015. The single peaked at number 21. He released his second album, “Alive” on 25th May 2018 under his record label Ben Haenow. He later released the singles “Forgive & Forget” in October 2017 and “Rising” in December 2017.
