Ben Kweller Bio
Born in June 16, 1981, Benjamin Lev Kweller or simply Ben, came from Greenville, Texas. His musical genre revolves in indie rock, indie folk, and country rock. He started off with music as a young kindergarten student when he tried playing with his toy guitar. By age of eight, he began playing piano and wrote songs. Then, during his teenage years, Kweller became an accomplished guitarist with several other musical trades.
He began forming different bands, including Foxglove. Then he launched a solo career in 1994, as he released the EP “Hello” under Practice Amp Records. Then he released a full-length album named “Dizzy.” Later, Kweller would sign with Mercury Records in 1996, in which he was only 15 years old.
