Ben Miller Bio

Bennet Evan Miller (popularly known as Ben Miller) is a British actor and comedian who was born on February 24th 1966 in London, England, United Kingdom. He was born and raised in London. He attended the Malbank School in Nantwich, Cheshire until 1984. He has two sisters Leah and Bronwen and their father Michal was a lecturer in American Literature at the City of Birmingham Polytechnic.

Ben rose to fame as one-half of the comedic act Armstrong and Miller. He formed the duo with Alexander Armstrong. Both received a 1996 Perrier Comedy Award nomination and in 1994 they performed their first full-length show at the Edinburgh Fringe. He is also known for appearing on ITV’s science fiction program Primeval and on the crime drama series Death in Paradise. Miller was awarded a Judges’ Commendation for his portrayal of Hamlet at the 1990 National Student Drama Festival. He also co-wrote MindGym, winner of the first BAFTA Interactive Entertainment Award for comedy in 1998 with Tim Wright and Adam Gee. He is also famously known for co-starring with Julia Stiles in the 2004 film The Prince and Me.
