Ben Ottewell Bio
Born in June 23, 1976, Benjamin Joseph Ottewell or simply Ben came from Bonsall, Derbyshire. His musical genre involves indie, alternative rock, folk, and folk rock. He was known to be a member of the British band Gomez. In 1998, they took home the Mercury Music Prize. As a band, all members share the center stage as they all are vocalists for the group in different occasions.
However, Ottewell is more likely to take the microphone to sing vocals, becoming a prominent member of the group. After the release of Gomez’s sixth album in 2009, Ottewell decided to do a solo career. He released his debut in 2011 with “Shapes & Shadows.” In 2014, he also launched “Rattlebag.”
