Ben Whishaw Bio

An English actor, Whishaw was born in Bedfordshire and graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. With an Olivier Award for Best Actor under his belt for his theatrical performances, the actor is best known for his portrayal of John Keats in Bright Star, Q in the Bond Films, Skyfall and Spectre and as the voice of Paddington Bear in the hit animated film Paddington and it’s sequel.

In television the actor began his career playing Pingu in the British sitcom Nathan Barley alongside Nicholas Burns, Claire Keelan and Charlie Condou. He then went onto play Freddie Lyon in The Hour alongside Romola Garai and Suez Crisis. He was most recently in the hit television miniseries London Spy where he played Danny.
