Benjamin Millepied Bio
Benjamin Millepied is a French dancer and choreographer best known for his work as a ballet dancer. He was born in Bordeaux, France, on June 10, 1977. Benjamin joined the Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse de Lyon at the age of thirteen, and in 1992, he began training at New York City Ballet. He has since become one of the most recognizable ballet dancers on the East Coast. He is known for his pieces in ballet productions, but in the early 2010s, he began choreographing dance sequences in films. Benjamin has contributed to the films Portals, Vox Lux, Carmen, and Black Swan which featured Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Vincent Cassel, and Winona Ryder.
