Benny the Butcher Bio
Jeremie Pennick, who is known professionally as Benny the Butcher, B.E.N.N.Y. the Butcher, or Benny, is an underground American rapper from Buffalo, New York. He is part of a hip hop group called Griselda, where he performs alongside Westside Gunn and Conway The Machine. He is also part of the collective Black Soprano Family. In March of 2017 Griselda records signed a deal with Eninem’s music label Shady Records, under parent company Interscope. In the late 2000s, he began gaining notoriety for his self-released mixtapes including The Mayor’s Back and Chains Bond. In 2018, he released his critically-acclaimed album Tana Talk 3, followed by ‘The Plugs I Met’ in 2019. Shortly following his second album release he signed a deal with Roc Nation, who represents artists like Jay-Z and Rihanna. Benny was born November 27, 1984 in Buffalo New York.
