William Scott Goldberg, better known as Bill Gold, Bill Goldberg, or Goldberg, is an American professional wrestler, retired football player, actor, and WWE Hall of Famer. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on December 27, 1966. He began his career as an entertainer in the NFL where he represented the Los Angeles Rams, Sacramento Surge, Sacramento Gold Miners, Atlanta Falcons, and the Carolina Panthers. After he retired from football, he became a professional wrestler in 1995. He competed under WCW Power Plant, All Japan Pro Wrestling, Legends of Wrestling, and World Wrestling Entertainment. During his time at WWE, Goldberg has won the Universal Championship two times, the World Heavyweight Championship, and fought against Triple H, Batista, Randy Orton, and Shawn Michaels. After decades in the industry, Goldberg was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Goldberg has appeared in the TV series Love Boat: The Next Wave, NCIS: Los Angeles, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and The Goldbergs.
