Bill Skarsgard Bio
Bill Skarsgard is a Swedish actor and the son of Stellan Skarsgard. Coming from a performing family the actor was known in his native Sweden for his role as Simon in Simple Simon. His first role in a mainstream Hollywood production was as Captain Machouten in Anna Karenina, where he worked alongside Keira Knightley. He has a role in the television role Hemlock Grove as Roman Godfrey.
He then portrayed Matthew in The Divergent Series: Allegiant and followed this up in his role as Merkel in Atomic Blonde, alongside Charlize Theron. He is best known to date for his role as It, or Pennywise in the film It, an adaptation of the Stephen King novel. His next starring role is in Deadpool 2 as Axel Cluney.
