Billy Dee Williams is an actor born on 6th April 1937 in New York City, United States. He played the role of Lando Calrissian in the multimedia franchise “Star Wars”. He started his career in 1945 with the Broadway operetta “The Firebrand of Florence”. He later appeared in the plays “The Cool World”, “A Taste of Honey”, and others. His film debut came in 1959 with the drama film “The Last Angry Man”, which also features Paul Muni.
His major breakthrough came in 1971 with the TV film “Brian’s Song”, in which he portrays the late American football player, Gale Sayers. In 1980, he appeared in the epic space opera film “The Empire Strikes Back”. In February 2012, she appeared in the daytime syndicate talk show “The Oprah Winfrey Show”. Two years later, she participated in the reality show “Dancing with the Stars”. She partnered with Emma Slater in the show.
