Billy Talent Bio
Billy Talent, formerly known as Pezz, is a Canadian Rock band formed in 1993. The band was formed at a high school in Meadowvale, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada by current members Benjamin Kowalewicz, Ian D'Sa, Jonathan Gallant, Aaron Solowoniuk, and Jordan Hastings. The band began releasing music in the mid-'90s and played at small venues until 2003 when they released their eponymous debut album Billy Talent which went on to be certified multiple-platinum and won a Juno Award for Favorite New Album. Billy Talent has released multiple albums and singles that propelled them to international stardom. The band regularly tours Europe and Asia. Billy Talent has won other Juno awards for Group of the Year, Rock Album of the Year, and Music DVD of the Year.
