Bindi Irwin Bio

Bindi Sue Irwin is a TV personality, conservationist, activist, and actress born in Buderim, Queensland, Australia, on July 24, 1998. She made her TV debut in The Crocodile Hunter Diaries in 2000. In 2008, she won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Performer in a Children's Series and the Logie Award for Most Popular New Female Talent for her role in Bindi: The Jungle Girl.


Bindi starred as Isla Coralton in Spidey and His Amazing Friends, Nim Rusoe in Return to Nim's Island, and Sunday Clovers in My Babysitter's a Vampire. She was the season 21 Mirror Ball winner of Dancing with the Stars. She has appeared on RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under, The Kelly Clarkson Show, CBS News Sunday Morning, and A Little Late with Lilly Singh.


Bindi is a recipient of Queensland Premier's Sustainability Young Achiever Award and the Australian Geographic Society's Young Conservationist of the Year Award. She made the Guinness World Record in 2018 as Instagram's most-followed TV Conservationist. Her verified Instagram and Twitter accounts have 4.9 million and 784,500 followers, respectively.
