Bishops Green Bio
Bishops Green is a band from Canada. The band was formed in 2011, and its members include vocalist Greg Huff, backing vocalist/guitarist Scott Farquharson, drummer/backing vocalist Orville Lancaster, guitarist Tobias Chobotuck, bassist Bryan McCallum, and bassist Adam Mitchell. The band is mainly comprised of friends with a variety of musical tastes and influences. They draw influences from music groups like Cock Sparrer, Leatherface, The Clash, Blitz, and Stiff Little Fingers.
Their music can be described as energetic and raw, with a style connected to the historical roots of street punk. All the band members have been playing in bands since the 1990s. The band released the EP “Bishop Green” in 2013, followed by a second EP, titled “Back to Our Roots Part 1”, in 2016. They also released the singles “Pressure” in 2014 and “Back to Our Roots Part 2” in 2016.
