Black Tongue Bio
Black Tongue is a band from the United Kingdom. The band was formed in 2013 and its members include vocalist Alex Teyen, guitarist/vocalist Eddie Pickard, guitarist James Harrison, bassist Lloyd Newton, and drummer Aaron Kitcher. The band releases unique music that blends deathcore with doom metal, also known as downtempo deathcore. They released their debut EP “Falsifier” in 2013. The album received many positive reviews from fans and other musical artists.
In 2014, they released their sophomore EP “Born Hanged”. They later signed with Century Media Records and released their debut studio album “Born Hanged – Falsifier”. Their sophomore studio album “The Unconquerable Dark” arrived in 2015. The band left Century Media. Three years later, they self-released their third studio album “Nadir”. The album was critically acclaimed by the metal community. The band draws influence from a range of genres and musical artists.
