BlackGummy Bio
BlackGummy is the tasty stage moniker of Iman Marouf, an EDM artist from L.A. He’s all about the old-school industrial techno sound, complete with soundbites from public domain movie dialogue, digital beats, and a very dark sound. He graduated from the Icon Collective Music production school in Burbank, California, meeting DJ Steve Duda, who mentored him. He’s signed to Deadmau5‘s iconic label Mau5trap.
BlackGummy has dropped three EPs, three singles, and milled about with a few guest appearances. He’s still a rising talent, only producing since 2015, but already made his mark. He tours regularly at venues including Mesophase Tour, EDC Mexico, Buku Music + Arts Festival, Electric Daisy Carnival, Electric Zoo, Electric Forest, and Escape Halloween.
