Blackmore's Night is a neo-medieval folk rock band created in 1997 the United Kingdom. The British-American band is known for its first album, “Shadow of the Moon," which had immense success as it featured Ian Scott. The band is also known for consistently having two members - Ritchie Blackmore and lead vocalist Candice Night, although they have had other members too.
The band started their musical career in 1997. Over the years, they have changed their musical style to suit their audience. For instance, the "Fires at Midnight" album incorporated rock guitar but still maintained folk rock. The group performs at stand-alone concerts as well as at Renaissance and Renaissance festivals. Also, they performed at MagiQuest. In 2006, during Halloween's "Light the Universe," they performed a duet with Andi Deris. Their other albums include Secret Voyage (2008), Autumn Sky(2010), Dancer and the Moon (2013), and Nature's Light (2021).
