Blanco Brown is an American trap and hip hop artist born in 1985 in New York and grew up in Butler, Georgia. He spent his childhood between Butler and Atlanta and worked as a producer for years prior to his solo career. In 2018 he worked on Fergie and Pitbull’s “Goalie Goalie”, the anthem for the FIFA World Cup, and got a record deal from Broken Bow Records. He released a self-titled EP in 2019, and shortly after he issued “The Git Up”, his first hit single. The single went viral with a dance challenge on TikTok and YouTube and peaked at 14th place in Billboard’s Hot 100, and in 44th place on the Country chart. In October 2019, Brown followed up with his full-length album debut “Honeysuckle & Lightning Bugs”.
