Blind Channel is a musical group from Oulu, Finland. The group was formed in 2013 and consists of drummer Tommi Lalli, vocalist and guitarist Joel Hokka, guitarist Joonas Porko, vocalist and programmer Niko Moilanen along with keyboardist and samplist Aleksi Kaunisvesi. The band itself describes its music as “violent pop.” In 2014, the band participated in Wacken Metal Battle and won the prize. In the same year, the band joined the Finnish label Ranka Kustannus. They released their first album, titled “Revolutions,” in October 2016. This was followed by a second album, titled “Blood Brothers,” in April 2018. After releasing the album, the band went on a tour that included performances across Europe. They released their first single from their third album, titled “Over My Dead Body,” in November 2018. They released their third studio album, “Violent Pop,” in April 2020. They represented Finland in the EuroVision Song Contest 2021 with the song “Dark Side” and finished in sixth place.
