Blinkie is a London-based producer and DJ who was born on January 22nd 1989 in London, England. He was born and raised in London. Blinkie started making music when he was 15. He mentioned the major influences on his production style were Quincy Jones, Rick Rubin and Kanye West.
Blinkie rose to fame with his 2015 debut single Don’t Give Up (On Love). He was also known for remixing songs for Sam Smith, Anne-Marie, and Sigala and also releasing singles for Crazy Cousinz and Grace Tither. Some of his top UK rap and singles include J. Warner’s Chill Chase (featuring Wretch 32), Jada’s Purple Skies and Liam Prior’s Falling. His house anthem Don’t Give Up (On Love) received massive recognition from Eton Messy, Mistajam on BBC Radio One and Ministry of Sound Radio.
Blinkie dropped a few more singles in 2018, including Blue Skies with UK producer Crazy Cousinz. Some of the other singles include Little Love (featuring Grace Thither) and Celina Sharma’s Must Be Love that arrived in 2019
