The punk/pop-rock band Blondie was formed in 1974 by the vocalist Debbie Harry and guitarist Chris Stein in New York City. The rest members of the band have been quite variable, but the drummer Clem Burke and the bassist Leigh Foxx have completed the line-up by quite a while. The keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohen was recruited in 2008. They released their self-titled debut album in 1976 labeled by Private Stock. The band grew worldwide in 1978 when they released their album “Parallel Lines” with Chrysalis Records. The single “Picture This” reached the U.K. top hits that same year. The band has won some awards like the Juno Award for Best Selling Single in 1980, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for Inductees in 2006. The band also has done collaborations with some bands like Chequered Past.
