Bob Moses is a Grammy-nominated electronic music duo composed of Jimmy Vallance and Tom Howie. They first emerged in 2012 with a series of EPs that were well received. They earned praise from critics and found commercial success for their hit “Tearing Me Up”, which was one fo the tracks on their debut project “Days Gone By”, and got them a Grammy Award nomination. The band has roots in Vancouver, Canada, but the members were born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Vallance and Howie knew each other from attending highschool in Vancouver together. In 2012, they named themselves Bob Moses after the urban planner that designed modern-day New York, and signed with the Scissor & Thread label and released an EP, “Hand to Hold”. THey have since released more EPs, as well as a compilation album and two full studio albums.
