Bobaflex is an American hard rock band formed in Point Pleasant, West Virginia in 1998. The band was started by the brothers Shaun and Marty McCoy who are the two main singers of the band. The current members of the band are Shaun McCoy, Marty McCoy, John Hoskins, Jerod Mankin, and Tommy Johnson. The name of the band was inspired by the bounty hunter Boba Fett from the Movie Star Wars. They released their debut album in 1993 self-titled Bobaflex. They have since released the albums Primitive Epic, Apologize For Nothing, Tales From Dirt Town, Chemical Valley EP, Hell in My Heart, Charlatan’s Web, Anything That Moves, and Eloquent Demons. They have also released the singles “Tears Drip”, “Better Than Me”, “Home”, “Bury Me With My Guns On”, “Chemical Valley” and others. In 2001 they were signed to the label Eclipse. They switched to the label TVT Records until it filed for bankruptcy in 2009. The band obtained the rights to all their songs and started their own label in 2011 and called it BFX Records.
