Bobby Bones is an American radio personality and author, born in Hot Springs, Arkansas on April 2, 1980. He is best known as the host of the radio show The Bobby Bones Show. He started his career on the radio at 17 years old on KSWH-FM 102.5 The Pulse, the campus station of Henderson State University. While still in college he starting working at KLAZ as a station hand, but after several days of working there was put on the air. He ended up hosting The Bobby Bones Show on KHFI-FM in Austin, Texas and over 10 years built it into a top-rated morning show. The show has become a regular interview spot for big-name country stars like Taylor Swift, Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, The Band Perry, Jason Aldean and others. The Bobby Bones Show went into national syndication in 2013 with Premiere Networks. It is the biggest country music morning show in the United States with close to 3 million listeners. In 2009 he made his acting debut in the film Bandslam. He has also made appearances on the shows Nashville, Live! with Regis and Kelly, American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. In 2016 he released his debut book titled Bare Bones, I’m Not Lonely If You’re Reading This Book and followed it up in 2018 with the book Fail Until You Don’t: Fight. Grind, Repeat. Both books became New York Times Best Sellers.
