Bobby Singh Bio
Bobby Singh is a table player from England. He is known for his work on the album “Djan Djan”, which was awarded the 2010 ARIA Award in the category of Best World Music Album. The album also features kora player Jeff Lang and guitarist Mamadou Diabate. They met in 2008 during a tour in Australia. In March of the same year, they recorded an album in a single day. Singh released his debut album “Aasha” in 2001 in collaboration with Adrian McNeil.
The following year, he released his second album “Sawariya” in collaboration with Jaspinder Narula under the Nuff “PGMX 1312” label. His third album, “As Wide as the Sky”, was released in 2007 under the Birdland Records label. In 2015, he released his fifth and latest album, “Kapture”, featuring Sandy Evans, under the Rufus label.
