Bolaji Odojukan, widely known as BOJ, is a singer, songwriter, and record producer born in London, England, on April 22, 1994. His music is influenced by Wyclef Jean, Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley, Fela Kuti, Lagbaja, and Sean Paul. He is best known as one of the pioneers of the fusion genre Alté, incorporating afrobeats, dancehall, reggae, hip-hop, and alternative RnB.
BOJ formed DRB LasGidi with Teezee and Fresh L in 2007. He released his first solo mixtape, #BOTM (meaning BOJ On The Microphone), on February 21, 2014. StudioMagic produced the 10-track project. BOJ won the Best Alternative Song at the ninth edition of The Headies Awards in 2014. He released #BOTM (Deluxe) in 2016.
BOJ released his debut album, Magic, in October 2017, under HF Music. He released an EP, Make E No Cause Fight, with Ajebutter22 in 2018 and another one, Make E No Cause Fight 2, with Ajebutter22 & Falz in 2019. He has collaborated with Show Dem Camp, Fireboy DML, Tiwa Savage, and Kofi Jamar.
