Booka Shade Bio
Booka Shade is a duo made up of Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier in Frankfurt, Germany. The created Planet Claire back in the early 90s but they eventually changed the name to Booka Shade and released their debut album under the Get Physical Music label in 2004. The following year, the duo collaborated with M.A.N.D.Y. on the song “Body Language” and the song was named as the “Ibiza Track of the Season” while the label received DJ Magazine’s award for Label of the Year. Their follow-up single Mandarine Girl also became a club hit. Some of the albums by Booka Shade includes Teenage Spaceman, Eve, and Cut the Strings. Popular songs released by the duo include “I Go, I Go” with Kaktus Einarsson, “Many Rivers,” and “Love Inc.”
