Boostee Bio

Boostee is the stage name of the French rapper Mehdi Calendreau. He was born in Cholet, France on May 4, 1995. He became interested in rap at eleven years old after watching a film with Lil Bow Wow rapping in it. Growing up he would try to imitate Lil Bow Wow, Eminem, and Flo Rida. In 2010 he released his debut EP titled By Myself that he self produced and released. In 2014 he released his second EP titled Reve de gamin. After releasing his second EP he met the founder of Music Media Consulting collaborated with him on the single “Dans le vide”. In 2015 he released the single “Feel Alone” and in 2016 released the single “Popcorn.” The latter put him on Shazam’s top hip-hop and was certified gold and platinum. In 2017 he released his debut album titled Bluesky and was nominated for a NRJ Music Award for Revelation of the Year.
