Robert Boyd Holbrook is an American actor and model best known for his performances in the movies Logan, The Predator, and Gone Girl. He was born in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, United States, on September 1, 1981. Boyd began his career in 2001 when he was scouted by Elite Models. His acting career began in the late 2000s with short appearances in TV series. He became a household name when he joined the cast of the award-winning movie Gone Girl alongside Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, and Neil Patrick Harris. Boyd also made a starring performance in the hit Netflix TV series Narcos. He was nominated for Best Actor at the Milano International Film Festival, and he won a Hamptons International Film Festival Award for Breakthrough Performer.
