Bradley Whitford is an actor born on 10th October 1959 in Madison, Wisconsin, United States. He is widely recognized for playing Joshua Lyman in the political drama series “The West Wing” from 1999 to 2006. He was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Awards three times for his role in the series. Whitford started his career with the television series “The Equalizer” in 1985. He later played a recurring role in the soap opera “All My Children”. He made his film debut with the film “Dead as a Doorman” in 1986.
He later played Danny Tripp in the television series “Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip”. In 2008, he starred in the drama “Burn Up”. In 2013, he landed the role of Pete Harrison in the television sitcom “Trophy White”. In 2018, he was cast in the dystopian series “The Handmaid’s Tale”, playing the role of Commander Joseph Lawrence. From 2019 to 2020, he appeared in the comedy series “Perfect Harmony”, which was aired on NBC.
