Brandy Clark was born on October 9, 1975 in Morton, Washington. As a songwriter, she contributed to many popular songs for artists, those included Miranda Lambert’s Mama’s Broken Heart, Reba McEntire’s Cry and The Day She Got Divorced, Kacey Musgraves’ Follow Your Arrow, Toby Keith’s Drunk Americans, and The Band Perry’s Better Dig Two plus many more.
The songs that Clark has collaborated on have been nominated for many awards. Mama’s Broken Heart was nominated for Song of the Year, a category that she was nominated for 3 times. In 2013 Clark was named one of the Women of Country by CMT. Not only does Clark write songs for other artists, she has also released her own albums. In 2013, her album, 12 Stories, made its premier. Her second album was released in 2016 and was called Big Day in a Small Town.
