Brasstracks is an American hip-hop musical duo that was formed in 2014 New York City, New York, United States. The duo is made up of trumpeter Ivan Jackson and drummer Conor Rayne. The two were students at the Manhattan School of Music and were earning their degrees when they decided to come together.
The duo collaborated with Chance the Rapper to drop his Grammy-awarded song No Problem in 2017. They followed through with many other fruitful collaborations with other artists including tracks with Anderson Paak, the Underachievers, Aluna George, Wyclef Jean, Lido & Khalid and GoldLink. In 2018 the duo finished their tour and dropped the 6-track EP For Those Who Know, Pt. 1. Their debut full-length album Golden Ticket dropped in August 2020 featuring guest appearances by Lawrence, Robert Glasper, Col3trane and others. The duo has also played in iconic venues and festivals like Red Rocks & Coachella.
