Actor, singer, and songwriter Brett Gray was born on August 7, 1996 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After starring in numerous stage productions, he was encouraged by his friends and family to pursue a professional career in acting. He starred in a series of shorts (Tortoise, 2015; Tale of Four, 2016; Metrocard, 2016) and an independent movie (Ardmore Junction, 2016) before he made his network television debut in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in February 2018. By March of the same year, the first season of On My Block, a coming-of-age series from Netflix where Gray played one of the leads, was released. The following month, he launched his music career by releasing his debut single, Old Thing Back. In October 2018, released his debut EP entitled Easy Daze.
