Brett Maverick Phillips is a professional baseball player from the United States who was born on May 30th, 1994, in Seminole, Florida, USA. He attended Seminole High School and graduated from there. In 2012, the Houston Astros used the sixth overall pick to select Brett in the MLB Draft. Until 2020, he had been a member of the Tampa Bay Rays, playing in the outfield. After playing for the Milwaukee Brewers and the Kansas City Royals, he went on to marry the daughter of the Marlins' manager after retiring from professional baseball.
