Considered to be one of the most influential artists associated with the popular form of music, Brian Peter George Eno is a singer, producer, composer, sound designer, and keyboardist from England who played a major role in the reinvention and redefining of the songs of many significant bands from the 1980s and 1990s. He is also credited with the creation of the genre of ambient music. Having started experimentation with electronic music during the 1960s, Eno made his debut in the year 1971 when he joined a band called Roxy Music as a keyboardist and technical advisor. After quitting the band two years later, Eno released a number of solo works beginning with Here Come the Warm Jets in 1974. He has worked with various music styles and genres such as rock, electronica, and experimental. Some of his works include Taking Tiger Mountain, Lux, Another Day on Earth, Kite Stories, Compact Forest Proposal, and I Dormienti.
