Actor Brian J. Smith, born October 12th 1981 in Dallas, Texas, graduated from Juilliard with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Smith appeared in a string of roles including Hate Crime, Law & Order, The War Boys, Red Hook, and Poirot. Brian then snagged his breakout role as Lt. Matthew Scott in SGU Stargate Universe Kino and SGU Stargate Universe. He went on to appear in the hit series Gossip Girl as Max Harding, and landed roles in Warehouse 13, Coma, The Good Wife, Person of Interest, Blue Bloods, Defiance, and Unforgettable. Smith scored a major role in the popular series, Sense8, and made appearances in Quantico, The Passing Season, 22 Chaser, L.A. Confidential, and The Matrix 4. He also landed recurring roles in World on Fire, and Treadstone.
