Jae-Beom Takata, better known as Brian Tee, is a Japanese-American actor, writer, and producer best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Okinawa, Japan, on March 15, 1977.
Brian began his acting career in 2000 when he appeared in the film What Planet Are You From, and he has since had recurring roles in the TV series Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., Expats, Hawaii Five-0, Grimm, and Crash. His filmography includes the blockbusters The Wolverine, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, and The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, but he is best known for starring in the action-adventure film Jurassic World alongside Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, and Judy Greer.
