Brittany Howard Bio
Brittany Howard was born and raised in Athens, a small city in Alabama state on 2nd October 1988. During her childhood, her sister Jaime passed away and left a tremendous mark in Brittany’s life. During her high school years, she met Zac Cockrell and they played in a band together named the Alabama Shakes. In 2012, she made an immediate impression with the band’s debut called Boys and Girls. In 2019, Brittany went solo and made an album named Jaime after her sister who passed away. This song also won an award in Favorite Rock Albums in 2019. She is married to one of her band members, Jesse Lafser, in 2018. She has more than 84K YouTube subscribers.
