Broken Hope Bio
Broken Hope is a band from Chicago, Illinois, United States. The band was formed in 1988 and has seen its lineup change over the years, with some members leaving and others joining. Its current members include bassist Diego Soria, rhythm guitarist Jeremy Wagner, vocalist Damian Leski, drummer Mike Miczek, and lead guitarist Matt Szlachta. They released their debut album, titled “Swamped in Gore”, in 1991, followed by “The Bowels of Repugnance,” in 1993.
In 1995, they released their third album, titled “Repulsive Conception”, which charted in the Metal Top 25 chart. Their fourth album, “Loathing”, also reached the chart. The band switched to the indie Martyr Records label for their fifth album. The band was dissolved in April 2002 and reunited ten years later with old and new members. In 2013, they released the album “Omen of Disease”, followed by “Mutilated and Assimilated” in 2017.
