Brooke Candy Bio
American rapper, singer and songwriter Brooke Dyan Candy was born on July 20th, 1989 in Oxnard, California. She first reached audiences when she appeared on Grimes’ viral music video for ‘Genesis’ in 2012, which has more than 60 million views on YouTube. Since then, she has released solo content, including “Das Me” and “I Wanna Fuck Right Now”. Her first major single, “Opulence” was released after she signed on with RCA records, and led to the release of an EP later that same year (2014). Her first full-length album was called “Daddy Issues” and released in 2015. Since then, Candy has become an independent musician and has both led her own tours and released her own album, “Sexorcism” in 2019, while touring with industry giants like Lizzo.
