Brooke Eden Helvie, better known professionally as Brooke Eden, is an American singer and songwriter who was born on December 30, 1988, in West Palm Beach, Florida, United States. She was born and raised in Florida. Brooke’s interest in music was enkindled when she was in her childhood when she often followed her dad at his band playing gigs. She later realized her impressive talent as a singer and started to play in local festivals and opening sets for major artists like Alan Jackson and Brooks & Dunn.
She auditioned twice for American Idol but wasn’t successful. She then studied and graduated with a marketing degree from the University of Florida. She dropped her debut EP in 2014, American Dreaming, a 5-song EP. She signed with Red Bow Records and released her debut single Daddy’s Money in December 2015. The single peaked at #50 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. The next year, she released another EP The Welcome to the Weekend. One of the singles from that EP, Act Like You Don't, reached the top 50 of the Country chart and has been streamed over twenty million times on streaming platforms like Spotify.
She followed it with another single Act Like You Don’t the next year that peaked at #49 on Country Airplay. She dropped the singles No Shade and Sunroof in early 2021. Eden has toured nationally, sharing the stage with musicians like Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Sam Hunt.
