Producers the Brookes Brothers are Phil and Dan Brookes from London. They’ve been making music together since 2002. They gained popularity after their song “Portal/Desert Island” in 2006. They signed with Viper Recordings shortly after ‘Portal…” was released. They also signed with Breakbeat Kaos in 2007. In 2008, they released the single “Tear You Down.” It spent two weeks at number one on the UK Dance Chart. It was also named BBC Radio 1’s “Record of the Week.” They released their self-titled debut album in June 2011. In 2012, they released the single, “Carry Me On.” It was named Zane Lowe’s “Hottest Record in the World” and peaked at number seven on the UK Independent Chart. The Brothers have held residencies at Fabric and Herbal nightclubs in London.
