Bruce Campbell is an American actor, director, writer, and producer born in Royal Oak, Michigan on June 22, 1958. He is best known for his roles in the films Maniac Cop and Evil Dead. Campbell began acting in short movies he would make with friends as a teenager. He made his debut into film in 1976 in the film It’s Murder! as a cop on a bicycle, he went on to be in numerous other films like, Crimewave, Intruder, Mantrap, Darkman, Fargo, Congo, Running Time, Menno’s Mind, Icebreaker, Spider-Man, Serving Sara, The Woods, The Escort, and many more, some of which he co-produced. He made his debut in television in 1979 in Knots Landing and has also had many roles in television shows, such as Ellen, Weird Science, Jack of All Trades, Charmed, The Replacements, Burn Notice, Psych, among others. He has been nominated for many awards and has won several, including a Saturn Award for Best Actor on Television, Three Fangoria Chainsaw Awards for Best Actor and Best Actor on Television, A Rouge Award at the Ashland Independent Film Festival and more.
