Bryce Dallas Howard is an American theatre and movies actress and filmmaker. She was born on the 2nd of March, 1981, in Los Angeles, California, U.S, in a family of artists, as her mother is a writer and her father and actor and producer. She began her career at age seven, making a small appearance in one of her father’s movies, and she also studied drama in her teens. She later studied at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts. She was part of several theatre companies like Theater Mitu. In 2004, she made her movie debut in M. Night Shyamalan’s thriller “The Village” playing opposite Joaquin Phoenix. She later starred in Lars von Trier’s “Manderlay” the sequel to Dogville. In 2006, she starred in Kenneth Branagh’s “As You Like It” and it earned her a nomination for a Golden Globe. Since then, she starred in several box office hits like “Spider-Man 3”, “Terminator Salvation”, and “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse”.
