Brian Wayne Transeau, mainly known by his initials BT, is an American singer, songwriter, and overall electronic musician who was born on October 4, 1971, in Rockville, Maryland. He became popular during the 90s and is considered the father of trance and progressive house. During this period, he released his two most famous albums: Ima in 1995 and ESCM in 1997. He is also the creator of many clubs' hit songs, including “Blue Skies”, released in 1996 featuring Tori Amos. He also participated in famous movies including “Go” in 1999 and “The Fast and the Furious” in 2001. After years of releasing new albums, he created his own software company dedicated to music production technology. In 2012 he partnered with singer Christina Burns to form the duo All Hail the Silence, with whom released the album Daggers in 2019.
