Buddy Hield Bio
Chavano Rainier Buddy Hield was born on December 17, 1992 in the Bahamas. He is a professional basketball player who is most noted for his spot on the roster of the Sacramento Kings. He began his career at a young age by leading his Hayward High School basketball team to the Holiday Championship. He later played basketball in college and led his teams to several championships and awards. In 2016, the NBA drafted Buddy. He was signed to the New Orleans Pelicans and scored highly in the summer league games. In 2017, he joined the Sacramento Kings and helped the team to make comebacks versus teams like the Denver Nuggets and the Golden State Warriors. He has also played with the Bahamas national team, which participates in the FIBA Americas for Central America and Caribbean zones. His awards include the Naismith Award, Oscar Robertson Trophy, Sporting News Player of the Year Award, and the John R. Wooden Award.
