Butcher Babies Bio
Butcher Babies is an American heavy-alternative metal band from Los Angeles, California. The band members consist of Heidi Shepherd and Carla Harvey as the two frontwomen, guitarist Henry Flury and drummer Chase Brickenden. The band was popularized through their cover video of ‘Fucking Hostile’ by Pantera on their YouTube channel. The Butcher Babies was formed by Heidi and Carla in 2009. The band released their self titled EP in 2012 and were signed to Century Media Records in the same year. They released their full-length debut album, ‘Goliath’ in 2012 and landed on number 112 on the Billboard 200 Chart. Butcher Babies went on to go on tour after their release with the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival in 2013 as well as The HellPop tour II in 2014. After a lengthy time on tour, the metal band released their second album, ‘Take It Like A Man’ in 2015. The band’s most recent project, ‘Lilith’ was released in 2017 where Chris Brickenden took the place of previous drummer, Chris Warner. Butcher Babies have announced that they are working on their fourth album release via their Instagram page.
